Boko Haram divides into two factions, battle each other in Sambisa - BBC
Two factions of Boko Haram terrorists have emerged, with one faction led by Abubakar Shekau while the other group stays loyal to ISIS-appointed Al-Barnawi. This is according to a report by BBC Hausa.

According to the report (translated to English):

Reports reaching us, is a serious fight between the two faction of the Boko Haram in Nigeria. Crisis evolved since the IS group announced Abu Mus’ab Al-Barnawi as the new leader of Boko Haram for West Africa.

Lack of compatibility further rise in the group two weeks ago, When faction of Al-Barnawi attack the followers Abubakar Shekau. Up to now we are unable to assess the aftermath of the clash between the two faction, due to lack of modern communication technology in the northeast of the country.

Diverse ideas brought the separation between the two sides. Al-Barnawi faction alleged that, the Abubakar Shekau faction carried out attacks on innocent civilians who have done nothing. While Shekau faction is accusing Barnawi of betraying the group (Treason).

Some have it, the dispute rocking Boko Haram, is a perfect chance for security agencies to completely crush the remaining Boko Haram terrorist.
