The governor also rebuffed claims that his security aide died while saving him as the church building collapsed on that fateful Saturday December 11 afternoon. He noted that 23 persons died in the tragedy while injured persons were taken to the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital.
Speaking during a thanksgiving mass with friends and wellwishers in Uyo on Monday, Governor Emmanuel narrated,
"The second chance is for everyone and not just the survivors, and we should be more concerned by the account we would render before God, because He will certainly not be interested in our titles and positions."Photos:
