Not less than 20 people have died since an ethnic clash ensued in Sabon Gidan village of Dan Anacha town in Taraba State last weekend.

According to eyewitness, the battle is between people of Fulani and Tiv tribes. Reportedly, two corpses of Fulani men who were killed by suspected Tivs were discovered in the bush on Saturday morning which triggered a reprisal attack.

Speaking on the incident, an eyewitness who doesn't want to be named explained,
"I counted about 20 corpses who were believed to have been killed early hours of today, Sunday.

"Many people including women and children are nowhere to be found."

Taraba State Police Command PRO, David Misal, confirming the incident, said that Police is working hard to restore peace and order in the affected community.
