Embattled Yoruba movie actor Seun Egbegbe says he was not remanded in prison after allegedly stealing 8 Apple iPhone handsets worth about 3 million naira at a store in Lagos State capital Ikeja on November 22 2016 (read here).

Last week, Seun was arraigned at a Lagos magistrate's court and was granted bail to the tune of 1 million naira. The ex-lover of Toyin Aimakhu says he has since deposited his bail and was not sent to jail as speculated on social media.

Sharing a picture where he is seen helping himself with a bottle of Star beer, Seun said,
"I am not presently at Kirikiri prison as alleged by some reporters, since the beginning of the whole drama because i know nothing about it and God bears my witness.

"Special thanks to the Nigeria Police Force for their investigative intervention, Media practitioners and my loving fans worldwide. Thanks for your support & concern.

"Good things will never seize in our homes."
