According to the Nigerian leader,
"The current challenges must be addressed through exemplary and disciplined leadership in order to accomplish our aspirations for a strong and prosperous state that would be a source of pride to the present and future generations.
"It is an indisputable fact that in the 60’s, 70’s and even in the early part of the 80’s, Nigeria was known for peaceful co-existence among different ethnic and religious groups.
"The culture of discipline and patriotism was also highly safeguarded. The commitment to national development by all key players in governance was also visible. However, the situation, as we all know, has unfortunately changed."
