According to UK newspaper Daily Mirror,
Sandra Redknapp, 69, was screaming in agony and there was blood on the road after the freak accident in Westbourne yesterday, four miles from the couple's £5million mansion in the wealthy Sandbanks area of Poole.
Her football manager husband, also 69, had driven his wife to the shops but witnesses said he did not notice her foot, and coat, were caught in the door as he pulled away.
Witnesses said Mrs Redknapp was is agony during the incident in Bournemouth and one said: 'There was a lot of blood on the Tarmac and Harry was beside himself. It was a freak accident.'
Mrs Redknapp was last night being attended to by her husband in hospital as she waited for surgery for her injuries, which have been described as 'serious'.
Redknapp currently manages Central Coast Mariners.
