The party also condemned the "rot" in Nigeria's economy and also berated Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State for dumping the APGA for All Progressives Congress (APC).
APGA BoT head, Mazi Okey Kanu said while addressing party executives during the week:
"Our electorate’s hopes are frustrated whenever their representatives decamp to another party.APGA also berated APC for failing Nigerians and said the APC has not performed on the change which they promised Nigerians in a statement:
"Such acts neither promote nor solve APGA electorate issues, but, only magnify the selfish bent of the defectors."
"They have rather inflicted more pain and hardship on Nigerians.
"Our economy is demonstrating enormous decay, unseen since 1984. Nigeria continues to mire in crony, nepotism, ethnicity, sectionalism, which is at the root of corruption."
