From a female blog reader:
I met this wonderful man four months ago. He asked me out, we went on a date and the rest is history. The connection and the chemistry between us is magical. And the love making is out of this world. He told me he has 2 kids (aged 6 and 8) but he's not married to their mother. I respect him for his honesty. And before him, I haven't been in a relationship for about 18 months or more (it was my choice to be that way). I fell in love with him because he is the best man I have ever dated to be honest. He makes me laugh, sincerely cares about me, takes his time to please me, loves me back and very mature too. The thing is that for two months or more now he's been saying he wants to give me some money, asked me to send my account number to him...which I didn't do immediately because I didn't know if he was testing me or something. He had to ask for it for the third time before I sent it to him. I work for myself so I don't depend on a man's money. He promised to invest in my business too. Anyway, I want to know if it is okay to ask him about the money he's been saying he will give me or just let him do it at his own time. I don't want to ruin a good relationship, but at the same time, I kind of need some money right now to take care of an urgent need. Almost every time we talk, he asks if I have my ATM with me so he can send me some money and I will simply say yes. (I travelled abroad to visit a relative) but he still hasn't sent anything. Even when he travelled to US for business, he kept saying he will send me something, but still hasn't. He's in Nigeria now. I have no doubt he loves me. I just want to know if it's okay to ask him for the money. Would he start seeing me as one of those girls that live off a man? Or do you guys think there is some else I'm not seeing because I'm blindly in love? Please advise. PS. I honestly had no idea he was kind of rich before dating him. So it's never about money.
