Chelsea central midfielder John Mikel Obi says he'll likely see what the future holds for him in other clubs if his current situation at the London club persists. Mikel has not been featured in any game or made it to the bench under new coach Antonio Conte this season.

The 29-year-old Nigerian Super Eagles captain told Goal:
"When you have a year left, in January you are allowed to talk to other clubs and sign a pre-contract or have an agreement so, yes, I will talk to other clubs because you never know what is going to happen.

"If it is going to be the Premier League there will be options. If it is China or some other places, we will see. One thing is for sure, I will make the best decision.

"I've been here for a long, long time. I've spent 11 years of my life in this football club, it is my home."
The Blues played Leicester in a League Cup game where they won 4 - 2, featuring several youngsters and players from the reserve team yet Mikel's name was not on the list once again.
