Zankli Medical Services Ltd., a Turkish private hospital in Abuja where senator Stella Oduah's son, Maxwell Chinedu Etoromi was admitted before his death on Friday 26 August 2016, explained the circumstances involved in the death of the 28-year-old, distancing itself from the allegations of administering a wrong medication to Chinedu.
Zankli Medical Services wrote in an e-mail sent to Somtoo Okoye blog today:
Our attention has been drawn to a publication on your blog about the unfortunate death of Stella Odua's son, Etoromi.
We wish to inform you that the information published as regards our hospital, Zankli Medical Services Ltd is false and malicious.
The deceased did not receive any dental treatment in Zankli. He had the dental treatment in another hospital before he was rushed into Zankli in an emergency after complications, for treatment.
Zankli managed to stabilize him and run some investigations. The results led to his immediate referral to the Turkish Hospital, Neuro Department for further management at their request.
Patient spent less than 24hours in our hospital and there was no case of wrong diagnosis or wrong medication
