According to Daily Mail,
Turkish tanks rolled into Syria this morning as Ankara launched an operation to free a town controlled by ISIS. Turkish fighter jets and special forces were also involved in the unprecedented mission to drive out the Islamists from the border town of Jarabulus.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the Syria operation was aimed at 'putting an end to' border problems. At least a dozen tanks were seen entering Syria this morning as they targeted ISIS militants - but Erdogan said they were also aimed at Kurdish fighters, who are backed by the U.S.-led coalition. Syria's foreign ministry condemned Turkey's military incursion.
