YBNL boss Olamide has described the type of relationship he shares with his label signees Adekunle Gold, Chinko, Victoh et al. The 27-year-old Ijebu, Ogun State rapper said he gives a free hand to all his artistes including Lil Kesh who recently sailed his own label, YAGI, but currently remains under the management of YBNL.
"Lill Kesh is not my boy, likewise Viktoh too, they are all my brothers, we are family. They are suppose to live their lives, not supposed to be enslaved. This is no colonial era, this is 2000 and f**king sixteen.
"Democracy has taken over, not a military era. These guys suppose to live their dreams, if you want to show people love, show them, support them, don’t do it for one or two things because you want to hold them down. I am just supporting my guys, support in people I believe in. let them leave their dream, do what they want to do”.
"I don’t chose their singles, they do themselves, all my own is to support whatever they want to do, so we are family for life, Lil Kesh, Viktoh, Adekunle to Chinko and Enimoney, that’s my family and nobody can say anything bad about them."
